University of Guilan Awards Kushyar Scholarship, provide opportunities for distinguished applicants from different  countries, particularly neighbors from Caspian Region, China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Turkey,…  to undertake full time postgraduate study at the University of Guilan.

The name of "Kushyar Scholarship" has derived from Abul-Hasan Kūshyār Gilani (971–1029),  a well-known matematician, geographer and astronomer  from  Guilan, the northern province of Iran.  

The scholarship benefits may include 30%- 65% discount  in tuition fees
