UNESCO's International Science Program, as one of UNESCO's flagship programs, is designed to strengthen international cooperation in science and enhance national capacities in scientific education and research.

It is worth mentioning that the IBSP Scientific Advisory Board, which was approved by the UNESCO General Conference in 2005, serves as an advisory body to promote these goals. The Board is composed of 12 eminent scientists in various fields of science, and the members are appointed by the UNESCO Director-General in their capacity.

Eligible candidates have until 4 January 2025 to send their English and Persian CVs to the Science Group of the National Commission for UNESCO in Iran at science@irunesco.org. The Commission will respond to those who are accepted.
