The University of Guilan issued the following message on the occasion of the martyrdom of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas's political bureau:

In the name of God
Some believers are men who are sincere in what they pledge to God, while others have already fulfilled their mortal duty, and still others are waiting [their chance]; they have not changed in the least, (Al-Ahzab,23)

We offer our condolences to the martyrdom of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau and one of his bodyguards, to the heroic nation of Palestine, the Islamic nation, the fighters of the resistance front, the noble nation of Iran, and the academic community.
