At the Euroinvent 2025, in Bucharest, a research team from the University of Guilan won the gold medal of this scientific competition by presenting an invention in medicine and health.
The competition was held in the capital of Romania with the participation of researchers and inventors from all over the world in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Federation of Inventions (IFIA). The invention of the University of Guilan, "Ultra-sensitive graphene-based skin sensors for medical and monitoring applications," was presented by the University of Guilan's team, consisting of Dr. Reza Ansari Khalkhali, a faculty member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Sajjad Amoopour Roudkali, Alireza Nouri Roudsari, Pouya Raouf, and Erfan Zare, students of the University of Guilan. This invention received special attention from international judges, resulting in winning the gold medal, and it also received the WIIPA special award.
