Three students from the University of Guilan won medals in the 7th international sports competition for students of state universities of the Caspian Sea region countries, hosted by Astrakhan State Technical University of Russia, from October 7 to 11.
In these competitions, Zhina Paktaint, a student of architecture, won a gold medal in the chess category for girls, Mahan Ramezani, a student of physical education, won a bronze medal in chess for boys, and Amir Hossein Khoshghadam, a student of physical education, won a bronze medal in the boys' 100-meter sprint. Also, Dr. Shahram Nabati, a member of the Russian language department, was present in this competition as the leader of the team.
