The 16th national meeting of Russkiy Mir was held from November 2 to November 5 in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, by inviting the representatives of this foundation in the universities of the world. In this forum, more than 300 prominent representatives of science and culture, including specialists and translators of the Russian language, discussed and exchanged opinions about the ways of benefiting from common linguistic capacities for international interactions. The Russkiy Mir Foundation promotes the development of the Russian language by providing the necessary conditions for those interested in learning the Russian language around the world. On behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, representatives from the universities of Guilan, Isfahan, Tarbiat Modares, and Ferdowsi of Mashhad were present in the meeting. Dr. Shahram Nabati, the academic member of the Russian language department and the head of the Russkiy Mir office at the University of Guilan, attended this meeting and presented a report on the state of Russian language education at this university.
