About

The purpose of physical education field is to teach students about the physical and psychological aspects of human being to prepare them as professional coaches to collaborate with athletes and other people in sports, health and competitions.

The University of Guilan established the department of physical education and sport sciences under the faculty of humanities in 1974 by a cooperation agreement between Iran and Germany.
