The Faculty of Agricultural Science began its educational program by accepting students in Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Agricultural Economics, Forestry, Agronomy- Horticulture, in 1976. In the 1977, the Ministry of higher education changed the title of One department, add a new department, drop two departments and also separate one other, as follows: Plant Protection, Agronomy and Plant Breeding, Horticulture, animal Husbandry and Forestry. This faculty currently has 10 educational groups: Planet Protection, horticulture science, animal science, Agronomy and Plant Breeding, soil science, water engineering, agricultural economics, agricultural biotechnology, biosystem engineering, food science and Technology, and a silk research group. Also, this faculty has 86 faculty members and more than 1,400 students in three levels: Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD.
