The Faculty of Natural Resources chartered in 1984 as college of Agriculture and Natural Resources under the University of Guilan with 120 students and 7 faculty members. The faculty currently accommodates 640 students and 36 faculty members.
The faculty was moved to new 13.5-hectare campus located in Sowmehsara on 1996 and 7800 square meters of physical space provides sufficient space includes educational and administrative departments, offices, laboratories, library and staff rooms. The faculty comprises of four departments and offers a range of BSc., MSc., and PhD degrees in these fields.
Capabilities:
The faculty upholds high levels of expertise to diagnose, analyze and resolve natural resources related issues at national, regional and international levels. The faculty has strong collaborations with universities overseas and several joint scientific works have been proposed and conducted in Iran and abroad.
